GCP – Episode 66Posted November 1, 2009, Comments (8) |
Machinarium love on episode 66 of the Game Central Podcast. We debate PC game pricing in relation to quality. In the news, Divine Divinity on GOG, TF2 Halloween, and LEGO Universe ninjas, firemen, and robots (oh my!). And the games we’re looking forward to this holiday season!

you guys seriously need to stop fighting about machinarium, because of that I refuse to buy the game.
yes chris, because you wouldn’t shut up.
Also, the amount of knowledge both chris and sammy have on the topic, if it were gasoline wouldn’t be able to start a fire.
Also, I wanted to share that World War 2 and Zombies have not gotten old for me. JRPGS have.
but seriously, I just notice machinarium is $14.99 on impulse and I still won’t buy it.
If I play it, I’m going to pirate it, and I’m going to blame it all on you, Chris.
Also, GODDAMN YOU KURZON.
Get a better connection or get off the podcast, I can’t stand to hear you speak.
I love your personality, I love your voice, I love what you bring to the podcast, but I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE your shitty connection.
Heh, lots of Machinarium love. It’s not perfect, but it is well worth the $20. And Popcap *does* sell their games for $20. You’ll note on their site many of them are $20, from Bejeweled 2 to the new Zuma.
Just buy it Samy, geez. Er, and Weclock, were these some of your ‘drunk posts’?
I believe I did say something about Popcap selling their stuff for $20 on their own website, but I bought all their stuff for $10 through Steam.
And I did end up buying Machinarium. Right after that podcast recorded in fact. But I also used a code to get it for $16 on Impulse.
Same here, actually. Impulse 20% off. Good man.
I stand by my words, I am NOT getting Machinarium thanks to Chris.
Does this mean if I talk constantly about how much I love shitty console games you’ll quit fucking playing them?
-Love and kisses, Chris
DO IT.
