Today, Rockstar Games officially announced the second sequel in the
Max Payne series,
Max Payne 3. It is planned to be released in Winter of 2009, on XBOX 360, PlayStation 3, and our beloved PC. It is a direct sequel to
Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne, and will take place several years after the events in that game. It is being developed by Rockstar Vancouver.
Check out the official website. Although the website does not list PC as a platform yet, initial reports are that the game will release on PC and consoles simultaneously.
UPDATE: After more careful reading of the press release, it does in fact say PC for Winter 2009.
